New Troy City Council

Thanks to the new liberal majority on the Troy city council we can all expect our taxes to be raised by the maximum allowable amount.  Mayor Schilling now has all the votes she needs to pass her liberal agenda and this is at the top of her list.  The cost to have this special election is expected to be in excess of $75,000 which will add to the current debt.
Expect the city to spare no expense to get this tax increase passed.  And look out for the propaganda which will declare that this isn't really a tax increase but rather a restoration of the tax level we used to pay.
